10 STEPS TO A BRIGHT FUTURE

STEP 1: The Main Focus

Our Main Focus is helping “At Risk” Youth without the Youth realizing, we are actually helping them!

STEP 2: VARIOUS METHODS

We believe in using various Methods such as: Field Trips, Sporting Events, Strategic & Challenging Games and other activities to reach out to the youth. Simultaneously, we will educate them about life and what to expect in the future.

STEP 3: ACCEPTANCE

We focus on gaining Acceptance from the youth & try to develop mutual respect between The Mentors and The Youth. We allow them to be themselves, accentuate the positive, curb any negative behavior and at the same time build trust and friendship.

STEP 4: CREATIVITY

We continue to explore Creative and Effective incentives to attract parents and their children to understand and participate in Mission Outlet Services.

STEP 5: CARING & SHARING

Showing the child we are on their side and we understand their problems.  Letting the child know we at Mission Outlets Care about them.

STEP 6: IDENTIFY INTERST

We identify any special skills or positive interest the child may have.  We assist and encourage the growth of those skills and interest.

STEP 7: POSITIVE STRENGTHS

We use positive strengths as a tool to begin a positive change in the child’s life.

STEP 8: OVERCOMING WEAKNESS

We encourage the child through Intervention and Positive Reinforcement.

STEP 9: RELATIONSHIPS & COMMUNICATION

We keep Relationships and Communication Positive and Open. Doing this, effectively take the mentoring process to a higher level of Life Skills Mentoring.

STEP 10:ACCOUNTABILITY

Once Mission Outlets has successfully accomplished the above goals, we will begin focusing on Accountability and Planning and Achieving Life Skills Goals.
